They are different heights, but barely. One does flow better than the other, but the one that is higher flows at the rate I want it to flow without having to restrict flow on the lower one. I did build the ability to control flow in the lower one just in case.

None of this was planned of course. I added the second SLO after I realized my pump was too powerful for the system. The one SLO was not able to keep up with the input so I added a second SLO, second grow bed with a recirculation line the sump off the second SLO (which ended up being the lower one).

I said, "Fish, I need two volunteers" and these two jumped into my net. They are going into the new system today after a pretty long indoctrination to the new water.

The brave soldiers are doing well and doing their part in the new system. I just did my first water test and things are as expected.

I've been working on the second system and haven't really posted progress on the first one. Here are a few pics I just took.

The lettuce is coming in nicely. The tomatoes don't like being in the cage and are trying to break out. And I am training the grapes to grow where I want.

A few quick pics. I haven't done water tests since the last post but the PH was still pretty high last time I tested and I think the leaves on the broccoli are light in color due to the PH still being high. Otherwise I'm happy with the growth so far.

Been a while since I posted. Both gardens are doing well. Added some koi to one of them.

I have been planning and setting up for the next few months. Looking forward to some good growth!

Four days in the life of a grape vine in an AP system. These are my grapes I planted last year. First pic was taken on Tuesday, second on Sunday morning.

Will there be "AP" wine one day Theron? :D
