Hello,

Does anyone know how much food it takes to grow a single silver perch to plate size on average?

just trying to work out if/when an upgrade to my system would break even.

Thanks in advance :)

if you assumed a 2:1 feed ratio it would take 1kg to get a 500g silver, so thats a ball park figure +/- 100%

Try google for FCR for silver perch, that will give you a ball park figure. Stock density and yearly temps need to be considered.
