Well actually you can still enjoy the amount of fish you desire.. just have the water volume for it as well as GB.. which I currently don't have de to fishes continuously multipying.. sigh..

I hope I always get growth like these..
on a much happier note.. I'm expecting to get my 6000l/hr air pump tomorrow as well as 50 miniture shrimps.. their home will be in the GB and bio filters hopefully multiples quickly as they consume all those bio film that had developed.. faster decomposition and mineralization I say :)

ok so I got de miniture shrimps.. cherry shrimps to be exact.. dumped them into the biofiler to graze... thats all they were doing till now.

Just read thru your thread, one of the most informative i've seen on here. Good to see another trini makin progress with AP. Love all the experiments and research your doin man, you give me some ideas to try on my system to get nitrates down. I hope to grow tomatoes like you do some day!

Thanks alot man.. My purpose was to expose the unknowns of aquaponics via expermenting and trial and error.. together with folks like @Swedaquaponics we are trying to find the best way to release nutrients in the shortest time..

but HOSS where yuh from in Trinidad.?

i not too far from you...right in bel air.

jus finished setting up a bigger system home but the thing is i work offshore for a couple weeks at a time so that makes it hard to maintain / keep track of nutrient levels. i'l start a thread soon so you could check it out.

we mus link sometime to swap ideas n ting
