Nope. Nor has the patio. It's a massive area and is gonna be about $8-10k for both that I just don't have at the moment. Stupid Christmas. Stupid mortgage. That system is an easy one to put on the back burner at the moment because it's tucked out of sight at least.

You have more patience than I would.

I'd just buy a few bags of concrete, and reinforce the legs. Then hook it all up.

Like I said though, I lack patience. And mortgages suck :(

Sorry I've been MIA for a while guys - keeping super busy with work and house stuff unfortunately.
I will post an update on my other system as I've just cleaned it up a bit and am starting some new things for the next proper crop :-)

Yep, I'm with you there Ron. My house has heaps of equity thanks to some savvy decisions and it won't be too long til I'm mortgage free on this one. Mortgage-free by 30 is my (ever-hopeful) plan!

Oh boy, think of all the aquaponic-ing I shall do when that happens :-D

Don't worry Col, it's looking closer all the time for the big system and if this new housemate I have lined up moves in at the end of the month I will be getting things moving very quickly!

At our current rate, ours will be gone by 35-40.

You're doing well to have it gone by 30.

Eh, I started young on everything :-) We bought that block when I was 20 and we already had the baby in tow - with the wisdom of hindsight I'd probably not recommend dealing with builders, and working, and looking after a baby at the same time though...

Had I been more disciplined it would have been gone by 25, but I like stuff and things, and I like going out for dinner :-D

We're the same (Sounds like you started way earlier than us. We've had a mortage for 5-6 years now). If we paid the max that we could afford each week, it'd be gone soon, but I like being able to waste money on things like aquaponics too.

I messaged her on FB and she is currently away camping with the family, and has been busy! Still a few weeks away from coming home.

I passed on that we were all worried about her! She promised to post update when she is back on deck!

Hello lovelies! I am back!
Back without an update on the big system, but I'm about to upload some pics of my backyard setup.

It's been a bit of a crummy time lately, no job and a few personal dramas to deal with, but I have been APing off in the background the whole time. Had a few HSMs while I was away camping but I'll update my main thread for you all :-)

Thanks for checking on me! I feel loved :-D
