Hi, yes, you're not alone! We are in Mallorca and are just thinking of setting up an outdoor system to feed ourselves , our animals and keep our fishpond clean, with with a view to add edible fish to the mix later.
How far from Barcelona are you?

I am in Granada Province. Have not yet set a system up but am thinking of it, need to work out what size to go for. What sources of fish do you use? What feed do you use & where do you get it from?

The IBC of aquaponics is always the best place to start.
I remember the trout at, “Rio Frio” so depending on your location that could be a possibility!

Thank you Titus. Yes Rio Frio is about 2-3hours away from us. But I understand they make use of asnow melt fed river for the water they use, I am not sure if a recirculating system would heat up too much for trout. They should be good for cold half of year any way.
