Benny, this may be too late, but you should check on the spray foam insulation. It has a super high R value, and is not as costly as some kraft backed products.

Never mind about the spray stuff. The R is only R7 per inch. To do my 800 sq ft fish house(2"- R-14), they wanted more then I'll spend on the whole structure, INCLUDING R-14 insulation and Tyvek wrapping.

Hi guys, sorry I've been gone for so long. It's been a circus around here lately with the businesses and Bennets tennis. I took two months off from working on the greenhouse, but now we have lobster babies, big fish ready for more space, and a wife that wants her garage back.... So, tomorrow I have a friend coming over to help install the boiler chimney. Once that's in, I can finish a little trim work and the last two sheets of steel for the ceiling. Then it's time for heat and time to start filling tanks. I'll post pictures and updates as they happen. Hopefully tomorrow night I can post some update pics to get the thread back on track.

Watching intently. This was my first season and I'll say it was an epic failure. Fish deaths all year and very little growth in the plants except for the broccoli which went straight to seed. Since I'm in pretty much the same area as you except for the snow load I'm interested in how the greenhouse performs.

I'm back! I finally decided that I'm never going to finish the greenhouse on my own, so I went to plan b...hire help..lol

Things are happening now. The structure should be complete this week, then it'll be time for plumbing. We have a wedding at our house on July 3, and the wife says the greenhouse has to be done and functional by then.
...the motivation I needed
