Thank you all, going to visit friends today and the wife volunteered a couple of fish for lunch. No prize to guess who had to catch and clean while certain suggester remained asleep. Caught two with the larger one being 1186 grams and 906 grams after cleaning.

Time to take the bigger ones out as they are taking all the food.

FF @ jade perch mate, will be pulling a few more out to give the Silvers a chance to feed. Have to empty most of the main tank so I can catch them. Will pump the water into a couple IBC to save the water then pump it back into the system. Another 12 months before the Silvers are ready.

Thanks Bear. Yeah, we're fairly settled in but not all done yet. Getting there. Takes a lot longer than I expected. Work wise and socially things are going well. The Kiwis are a good bunch, really friendly and welcoming. At home there are still some things to get done before I can feel like we're settled in completely.

Not sure when I will make it over to the "Good Country" but I will work on it.
Definitely want a QLD trip in the next year or two. Hoping to hit some of your beaches and then see some of the AP guys up there and then maybe swing by Charlie's place as he owes me at least half a beer for his smart-alec comments. :D

I guess I don't know how to post a Youtube video

It looks like he has the solids going through the pump. I read that was a no no. The impeller blades break up the solids causing ammonia and water blending. I do have one pipe pass through below the surface of the fish tank. This is the inlet from the SLO pipe to the bottom of the tank. The water level will allow fluids from deeper to gently flow into the RFF. I must be over-thinking this.

Charlie your insulting behaviour is noted noted in my Little Black Book. You feature there quite often, can't imagine what Santa must think of you.

Thanks Bear.

I think that's why Charlie didn't move to Queensland. The beer bill would have bankrupted him.
