Hi
I started a tank in an IBC , and added the fish 2 months ago (water had been running through the plands for 2 months before tha). I had 50 Silver Perch (2-4 Cm), which seemed to be going well. One day 3 died, next day 20, and then 2. I still have 20 fish going (which was the number I was after).

The dead fish all looked healthy, no white spots, growths, firm to touch, and there was no indication of them gasping. PH as around 6.2-6.8. The water was a bit cloudy (and green but I expect that). The water had been regularily topped up (and we had enough rain to actually drain some off)

in the week before the die back, my other half added manutec Zinc and Manganese to the tomatos.

Could this have had anything to do with the die back?

I expected one or two to die over time, just the large number at once bothers me

Cheers
Pinky
