Hi my name is Marcos i'm from Ashland ,Virginia US, and I was interested in the idea of aquaponics. I was just wondering if you could help me with my ideas. I already have three IBC tanks and i already cut one and made two GB then the other two are still full and one is for a Fish tank and the other is for a sump tank and i have a 44 gallon barrel. My idea was a fish tank draining to a filter (44 barrel). Then from the filter to the sump tank, then from the sump tank with a split system to the GB and fish tank, and the GB is going to drain back to the sump.
Sorry, i'm new to all this, and i'm just trying to figure this all out, and looking forward to how it turns out.
Thanks in advance

..
Understanding gravity, lies at the heart of any design.. :headbang:

Knowing your property will also help.. ie... a sloping block can be put to use..

I used just IBCs to create a super low foot print.. it works well.. but.. I would do it differently, if restarting..

PS... what I built is too high, and hard to get at the back of beds...
But it was built for absolute smallest footprint, so the bride would be more accepting of the project..
Now, she wants M.O.R.E.
