Hi all, I have been gardening for 5 years, & started raising chickens this year, Aquaponics has not been on my radar because living up here in NH our winters can be brutal, I am already fighting to keep the hens' water liquid. I would prefer an outdoor system & can't imagine trying to keep a fish tank thawed all winter. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Its totally posible but can be very costly.

In very cold climate you should have obviuslly a greenhouse, and someway to heat it.... look at web4dev post, he have a nice system with a wood burner and storage of heat underground.
