I got sick of being eaten by mozzies while washing seedlings, so there are another few punnets to go in too. Image
Rhubarb looks happier after a few days. It didn't enjoy moving...

Wasn't intentional, they just snuck in there and I was uploading via Tapatalk so I didn't see it on the thumbnail (or should that be toenail?) image haha.

The water looks better now after that photo was taken, and the pond has a nice layer of feathery, furry biofilm on the sides which the fish are enjoying snacking on.

I also planted out another two punnets of seedlings in the GB, but I have room for one more, so I might go grab some bok choy or something similar after work.

Everything is looking happy enough with the exception of the pineapple sage. It's one that I made a big effort to get all the soil off, so I don't know if it's just transplant shock, or if it doesn't like the amount of sun (lots) it's getting, or the amount of water (also lots). I will keep an eye on it over the next week and see if it improves or declines.

Such a great idea, katmac! It's looking great so far! Your system is going to look so very pretty with the cladding and gargoyles!! Thanks for sharing the pics!

Thanks Amatheia, it's a work in progress but I'm enjoying it immensely :)

Everything in the GB is still looking happy, with the exception of the pineapple sage - I don't know if it's getting better or worse at this stage. My rose-coloured glasses vote for better.

If I get home in daylight tonight I will take some pictures. I really need to finish the rocks around the pond because it's looking a bit scraggly as it is now. But rocks are heavy, and I am lazy. Worse than that, I am not at all artistically minded and trying to stack them so that they are aesthetically pleasing is sooo much effort.

My pineapple sage did well for a while but it eventually crapped out and died.

I know some Salvia's do die back and you can prune them hard, but I think it was the water that made mine die off. All of the salvias planted at friends houses seem to thrive on a bit of neglect, they certainly don't get as much water as much as the pineapple sage in my GB did.

Such a pity because it smells so nice!

I thought it might not be liking it's wet feet either Azira. Maybe I will haul it out and pop it in the garden bed instead. I can replace it with something else easily enough.

Soon, Ron. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I'm schlepping around with no shoes and a toe sneaks into frame :-D
