That would be great.

I literally only want 2 or 3. Any more than that and I'd have to feed them and want them eating the snails. Plus don't want fish waste in my DWC.

Looking at pictures of them they look like bottom feeders. I'm hoping they will have the dexterity/agility to take snails off roots and the bottom of the rafts.

I think I pasted your place on our way to the waterfall at trentham a while back.

Yeah I'm just down the road from there.

That will mean I'll have to clean up. :(

When were you getting them again?

Oh crap  that is a long way from here.

Mind you I do have a reason to go to Thora as soon as I can organise the trip.

On the other hand Narrabri is 6hrs inland from Thora

Far out we live in a big country.

Although 14.5hrs to Narrabri is not that long :thumbright:

Out of curiosity, how many trout are you going to try and fit in a 20/30L tank? Wouldn't they go in your 200L tank?

The 20/30L had the Barra and the Silvers in for five days, but they were to big when I got them. that’s why the sudden purchase off the 200ltr tank. Its just an extra option I have. Depends when I harvest the other fish, I may eat the yabbies and use the goldfish in the sump tank yet. Anyhow! I put a large female yabby in with the snails last night. She is going through them like a hot knife through butter! There are still a few left. But their all up the top of the tank ATM. But they will have the come down when they get hungry. I put a algae wafer and a crayfish pellet in the tank to. Entice them.

:D

Yup she confirmed that their driver only goes to Melbourne, but I thought I'd ask to see if he'd be willing to meet up somewhere along the way, Seymour would probably be best for me. Haven't heard back yet but hopefully I can wrangle something.
