This is the VH (Very Heavy) grade. It looks denser than the dense foam I've seen in the horrid green box.

When I start drilling the holes I'll take some photos. Should be obvious to see the difference.

The top one is a light weight foam sample that I had.

This shot shows how much the raft is deflecting with a dried out ruhbarb crown on it (light gap under the level).

You can see here how much stronger the denser foam is.

Ok now that I have the foam I've looked into how much it is to ship it to people.

The answer not unexpectedly is that it is expensive :(

Toll quoted me $500 to ship a package 1.2 x 0.6 x 0.65.

I have a solution though.

If the rafts are cut in half so that they are 0.6 x 0.6 and then sent in stacks of 12 to make a package 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.6 then they are able to be sent by Australia post and the estimated cost is a lot cheaper at about $100 per package.

Australia post has a maximum length of 105cm so I can't officially send them as whole sheets :(. I'll have a chat to my local post office guy (who likes me) he can sometimes get over size stuff through for me.

I've also got the pots for the rafts:

I'm keeping the offer for the entry level cost of the foam until the end of next week. After that I'll put the price up so I get a bit of profit out of it.

The pots I'm doing for $0.15ea. The best price I could find on Ebay was $0.18ea when buying 100.

I can also provide clay balls if peoples want.

I've been talking about the potential adverse health effects from these chemicals for some time. It looks like the mainstream media might be starting to pay attention.

That's why I used sign board in my dwc bed. Hopefully, they don't find something wrong with that.
