Today hasn't gone as planned.

I still haven't got my order of stuff and I didn't get into town to get the pump pack.

File comment: Limp As...

Pardon interloping... But this is our Rhubarb and it went limp overnight a couple of days ago..
The Ph had being getting close to 6, and so I threw in a small amount of Sodium Bicarb.
Next AM it was limp as, and has now started to lose color..

Any thoughts?

(Obviously-- The holes were from grubs that have long since gone to the fush...)

PS - Nothing else seems to be affected and other Rhubarb still developing seems fine..
I do wonder if it was last Fridays Big-Heat that did the main damage to this half-bed sheltering plant..
..

..
the only PH UP that I have ATM..
Got to get the K one, but refuse to pay for it in 100g pouches at the Home-Brew shop..

I assume that the Sodium Bicarb converts to salt, ultimately, but would that be Sodium Nitrate??
(Chemistry not my forte..)

PS - today's readings pH7.6, Amm2, Nite0.5, Nate5>10
..

I hope the lack of reply was lack of obvious reason..

I think that I found the problem today---- It started to show signs or rotting, and assuming the end was here, it flooded the bed and removed the whole thing.. -- The smell gave it away..
I "Assumed" :support: that being root bound and the like was all gone with AP... Obviously not :upset:

The Rhubarb in my FnD bed is going nuts while that in my constant flood is surviving.
