Yes, Denmark is in Oz, West Oz in fact, but that's not the one on the list ;)

Keep in mind that the Aust. electricity networks have vast distances to cover with low population densities, so price per kWh cant be compared with most others on the list in a realistic way.

Also us electricity lines for houses are at 110v while Australia is at 220v.. I think that makes a difference in price..

Lower voltage means higher current for the same power- so you need larger diameter cables to houses at 110V, ie more expensive. The Australian standard is actually 230V.

Economies of scale is a huge factor- so many more consumers in the US.

Nope. It doesn't. kW is a measure of power which is a product of current and voltage. A 2kW motor on a 110V system will draw double the amps that a 2kW motor would on a 240v system.

I understand the relationship and what volts amps and watts are and the differences and how they are not directly convertible into each other... But never really clicked on how if I have a larger voltage bank than the less amps I need to supple X number of watts... Do I have that right?

Water and electricity are good metaphors for each other.

Current = Current
Volts = Pressure
