unless you know something i dont im not sure they are going to shift any on price. my order of 300 they still quoted me the same $1.40 each.

the only real benefit i would think is for people to try and group themselves by suburb/locality and share the delivery costs which i was told was $40

I think the postage would be the part to combine with.

Still normal price is $1 per fish cheaper than anything local, which is significant when your buying a reasonable amount of fish.

yep as i said above, im happy to drive 10 mins (pretty much any of the surrounding burbs) to save myself $20 in postage. hopefully someone else in the northers burbs feels the same way and i can combine with them.

definitely. i find it hard to justify paying 1a's "crazy" prices and the shipping from ausfish is expensive/complicated. im more than willing to support a business getting fish to me at the best price :)

part of the reason ive been sticking with trout even tho i want a change is because they are so cheap (80c) and i can pick them up, its just all so easy. looking forwards to having something different

Best I could find was slightly faster than silver perch.

my comment about getting a cheap as possible price was all about postage, and the fact locally they are almost $1 more each, I will still be getting trout in March/april but felt if more of us have the knowledge of joining delivery cost well it means more fish that we all can afford to buy

I got Silver Perch in autumn, managed to keep them alive through winter and they are now a reasonable size so more robust. I tried and failed several time with SP but this batch have done well. The perks are that they can handle the heat well apparently and in winter will just go dormant, won't each much but won't die either.

I for one will keep at it with Trout.

I have silver perch but they are so slow to grow out. W need a hardy fish like SP but a fast grower just like the trout are. Any ideas?
