cant resist a post about worm farms.....not really familiar with this one but price seems ok, 20$ freight on thath though. size wise its not really that big, i'd try making one yourself! Have you tried your local coucil, they might offer something cheap. :D

garden sieves stacked on top of each other also do the trick.
that way you can have bedding material, food,nursery and new scraps on top. covered with old carpet.

I have a link to a wheelie bin worm farm somewhere around here. (Easy to make and bins were from the local tip).

I am running two and we are running three at school. I have made several for colleagues and neighbours.

regards the design I would not use the flowerpots in the top. Better just to cut some smaller holes or slots and cover with shadecloth to keep the blowies out.

If the bin has the odd hole or split in it, it doesn't really matter. I used a plastic welder, but some sealing material or araldite would probably be just as good at patching up an old bin.
