Is pond liner a good replacement for Duraskrim?

I have heard of people having good success using EPDM pond liner. Such as http://www.pondliner.com/c-12-firestone ... iners.aspx There are probably cheaper places to find it. But it is fish and plant safe.

Nothing wrong with pond liner, its been around forever and designed for fish ponds.

It depends on what you want to do with it. Duraskrim has re-informent built into it making it stronger than pond liner. If you're trying to do TCLynx style semi-supported media beds with it - pond liner wouldn't work well.

That depends on which pond liner you use.
