Yay! Got my first toad tonight.

We have 4 or 5 green tree frogs that reside in our home gutter system and come out each night to forage around for bugs and wot not and tonight they seemed a little disturbed, jumping around and acting strangely so I had a look around for a snake or something that might be alarming them and came across the horrid beast on the side of the pool. I introduced him to the shovel. Total satisfaction.

Great work mate, now youve got points up on the board :thumbright: , your going to have to lift you game though.

I got eight last nigh, including a two in one shot (they were doing the business in the perch pond) and five tonight, and three big snails, do they count. :funny1:

I saw a Tv show(Dirty Jobs- Down Under) the other night where an Aussie chap was collecting Canes and freezing them. Then he was adding something to the mix and letting the whole mess break down and was using it as a fertilizer. We now have them here, and they're not welcome either. I'm further North then they prefer, but i dispatched several over the last few years. My choice is an air rifle. They will eat our native toads like popcorn, as well as lizards, small snakes, dog food, and about anything else they can shove in their mouths.
