Anyone know where I can get some 1mm feed in Perth?

Got some small barra fry I need feed for - not sure if the 1mm feed you get at petshops like petbarn is suitable?

5mm and a food processor is what I have used.

As the fish get bigger, blitz the feed for less time so the bits get larger.

You got Barra? Where did you get them? I could only get 20/25cm ones at the time they are now 25/30cm, got a good six months of growing weather here in Perth, I put my Barra outside last week, they slowed down on eating a little but the FT is 24.6 and the ST is 22.4, now.

Got 10cm/$8 each Barra a week ago @ Woodvale Fish & Lilly farm , but Golden Ponds had fingerlings for sale $2 each,( I was unsure if they would make the 3.5 hour road trip home ), but they might be worth a try if you live near Perth.

Cheers, my first five Barra were $11 but 3 turned out to be silver perch, the second 2 Barra were $10 each same place due to the mix-up? But they were 20/25cm, their a lot bigger now! :D

Hi Matt I got my Barra fry yesterday too, i got a little bit of food with them coz I asked nicely and took morning tea with me. the guys said to blend it with my 2.3mm or just grind the 2.3 up a bit.

Mine are taking mozzie larve quite happily too - which keeps the kids amused catching the wrigglers.
