I had the same problem. I had to build a fairly substantial frame to hold them. I don't think the clay balls would be heavy enough to hold the plants in the wind though

Here's the latest pics. It's going good. I put clay balls in it to replace the river stones...expensive but way better. Beans and cabbages are going nuts.ImageImageImage

I moved house as well. Closer to the beach now so im a bit worried about the salt spray damaging the plants
