Productive day :)

Measured out final growbed config

going 4 half blue barrel (Round vertical cut) around the circular tank part supported by a hardwood beam across the stone circle and 2x beams coming over to the wall at angle.
4x Normal Pallet style beds
2x side cut pallet style beds
Dug two post holes for a support beam.
Cut holes for stand pipes in pallet bases.

then the rain came :)

jayendra try not to use the top of the tank for grow bed beem support. The top of the tanks cannot really take any weight. They will support some weight for a short time but that is it.

I too like the walls if only I could work that into my system.

I'll get some hardwood for the supports - it only has to support the backend of 4 blue barrels.
The middle of this tank has a white 90mm pipe going down for strength - but I'll eliminate that in the design.

The posts for grow bed support

Thinking about a Perspex viewing hole here
Would be nice to make a push button LED light somehow - would have to be water proof for splashes - any ideas?

The garden is really looking great

Pipe diameter - is it better to have smaller or bigger from the pump to growbeds?

bigger is better as the lower velocity will reduce friction.

but there is no need to go much less than 1 m/s water velocity IMO.

I'm going with Laguna 9k 100w
Was thinking of changing 32mm for 40mm pipe to 25mm taps

i have a Laguna 9k and have 50mm off to 32 taps :)

Also, stick to gentle bends, I prefer 2 x 45 to a tight 90. All this will assist with more water at the end :)

I've got a 8k pump 40w, and it's going through a 40mm pipe. Works well.
