Couldn't not post a photo....

Note to self, don't make window any lower then you can reach, if you look close (hopefully it's clear enough of a photo), you can see the algae I couldn't reach.

I know it's a similar photo twice, but as I'm relaxing the fish came to say hi, stoked!

I've lost 4 since the move, but unsure whether from stress or perch. The reading I did said they'd be fairly safe, what's everyone's thoughts?

This will be your friend with the lower algae:

Saves you dunking your hands into the water.

Yeah I thought of that, had them on my fish tanks back in the day, but lots of kids will be viewing tank, and I can imagine I'll be losing them a bit from dropping etc.

I'd just leave them on 24/7, one for each window. Sticky fingers couldn't do much with half of it if the other half was locked inside the tank.

You might even get random kids cleaning it for you to watch the goldies eating the algae.

I used to use a bamboo garden stake with a non scratch scourer-sponge tied around it with an elastic band. Worked a treat. I think they sell a slightly less bush-mechanics version in pet shops now hehe

or you could just tie some cotton to the inner magnet and then to the inner tank, so if they come unstuck, you just reel it back in again. then again, sticky fingers could lose all of them in one day. 4 Year olds don't really care that they have 1/2 of something as long as they have some of it.

You shouldn't need a bit of string, just look for a floating one.
