Ok, so a few tweaks and I think it addressed most of the initial problems with the addition. I reduced the angle and also turned up the output so it raises the level of the water in the pipe. Here are a few pics to show what it looks like. ImageImageImageImageImage

There you go, backyard ingenuity!
Might want to be careful that there isn't run off down the end of the pipe and out the IBC.

Things are going together much faster this time around. Still have to get some uniseals so I may be held up if I can't find something local and have to order them online again. ImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks Martin. I'll post an update in a little bit. I have been working on setting up water flow all morning. My pump is too powerful so I was forced to expand! Adding a second bed and planning on cycling water out of a second SLO feeding the second bed as well as feeding back to the sump. This allows for future upgrades with minimal effort.

This is still a rough setup but i have finally got the flow issued resolved. I think the modifications will also help with aeration so a win/win in my mind.

Remember this is just pieced together to run tests before I level everything out and put them In place.

The bed laying again the fence will be setup where it is and be fed water from the fish tank via the lower of the three PVC pipes.

Still working on my bell siphons. I didn't use them in my first system so having to figure them out now. So far I have been doing some trial and error and they seem to be working.

Now for pics! ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looking good!

One bit of advice, if you press enter after adding the imageshack link, it'll put them underneath each other, makes it far easier to see all the pictures!

They look fine on my computer and my phone. I will start putting a space between them now that I know it looks different for other people.

Too much flow - what a great problem to have. :D

Late update for the day. Image
Access panels. I have these on both sides.

The second bed. I hope to finish it tomorrow and plumb/glue the PVC pipe.
