That rabbit is obviously a wild one.
The y are a huge pest here and I'm sure Oz wide which probably explains why you can't keep them. :cry:
The bigger problem is the people that keep cute 'lil flopsy wopsy then dump them. Just like the G.P above.

that's correct PLJ ,doesn't make it right, the reference was to Matthew Russell in QLD ....
I have kept rabbits no escapee's and dealt with all of them , I wish all backyard rabbit keepers/ pet owners could say the same be it cats dogs fish whatever.

Other parts of Australia keeping wild rabbits is illegal. Well VIC at least but I'm pretty sure about NSW as well.

It's illegal in Queensland but I'm pretty sure you can have them in NSW.
