Hey, I'm new here. Don't have any experience in aquaponics but found it interesting. I'm 17 and will be finishing high school soon. So, do I need any degree to be a aquaponics farmer?

If you want to take it seriously, there isn't much on AP formal learning. No idea what's available in Malayasia though.

But there is plenty of courses for Aquaculture & hydroponics. Then you just need to combine the two.

There is no such things as a degree requirement to be a farmer.

I see... Guess it would be much better to spend the money on buying a land. Thanks for the replies.

If you plan on doing it to make a living, perhaps studying business and marketing would hold you in good stead long-term.
This is somewhere that I think a lot of people with commercial intentions fall down. You can know everything about fish and plants there is to know, but if you don't know how and where to sell them, you won't make any money.

The rest is a combination of hard work, and lots of research.
There are diplomas available in Aquaculture, but also many shorter courses which might assist you.
