Besides, I don't want to 'over egg the pudding'! This is a hobby that I have absolutely enjoyed reading about and establishing...let me tell you, I NEVER saw myself even considering doing something like this! It has been a real source of joy and accomplishment so far and tending to the daily trims, removal of dead matter and feeding the fingerlings, (not to mention showing everyone that comes into the place), I am stoked with this project.

Are you boring your family yet? My OH only just stops short of rolling his eyes when I turn every conversation to aquaponics :-D I love it. Definitely the most constructive and productive hobby I've had.

She's not quiet at that stage yet. The entire thing is new to our family and still a novelty. You are right though, it is bloody fulfilling and I am enjoying the small victories. :D

The kid likes my setup, she has even watched the you tube clips? Even the one where I stepped on her pussycat! She even goes out and pokes the lettuce? Its not ready yet!
