Yay produce! 2nd tomato. Accidental shop tomatoes that grew in the yard. The kidlet tells me they are delicious. Image

3rd, or is it 4th? Tomato from the backyard.
Picked just before school so this time we will be going halves so I can at least taste it :-)

I've also plonked a bunch of seeds in a seed raising tray a couple of nights ago.
Sunflowers - had 0% success with the last lot.
Slow bolt Coriander
Yellow cherry toms
A single loofah seed just to see what happens
A couple of mini pumpkin seeds

I think that was it for now. Just a matter of waiting to see what comes up. I still have some beefsteak tomato and sweet Genovese basil seedlings waiting to go into the GB.

The constant delays are killing me.
I can't wait to get some more daylight hours so I can at least potter around after work!

Whoooop!!! Rocks!
Car did not like this journey, thank goodness it was short. Still a few more to pick up tomorrow. Unloading them on my own is killing me... Hence the breather to post this pic. I'll sleep like a baby tonight :-D

Ahh, the manly feeling you get after moving a bunch of boulders... Well, that may or may not be a good thing for you. Perhaps you should drop a hint to the OH about how studly you think men look moving heavy objects.

You're doing well to move at many!

They are heavier then they look.

Don't worry about the speed of progress. I've been at it for a year now, and I'm still not at where I'm happy yet!

Haha Ron I am feeling more crippled with back pain than manly at the moment. But they are all out of the car now at least. Still have more to go and pick up tonight, but I think I might have to swing past Bunnings and borrow a ute, as the Falcon - gutsy as she is - really didn't appreciate hauling 1 1/2 tonne of boulders home.
Thank goodness there are less this time around. It was a deceptively large pile in hindsight.

Oh, and OH is away for work otherwise he could have copped the majority of this job for sure!

That is why Dysons were invented. If a man is going to vaccuum, it is going to be with a highly sophisticated piece of machinery. Btw, when lifting heavy objects, remember to keep your abs tight, your back strait, and be conscious of how your lifting. Being complacent about how you're lifting is what gets you in trouble.

Yep that was definitely it. I was really careful loading them all up, but unloading - not so much. I was tired and it was dark.

I have a Dyson! I wonder if I can sell him on the tech-side...

Yep, unfortunately :(
It's actually even worse now because when the new estates are built and terraced, there is so much yellow sand shipped around the place. The stuff a few feet down though is only marginally better. It truly is just like black beach sand. And it's EXTREMELY dusty in Summer.

They were free, so I'm happy. And the lady was lovely and gave me a hand to load some of them.

Does my gumboots sneaking into a pic count as a toe shot?
