I have been offered 16 ibc totes that contained this stuff for free. It is used to make cultured marble which is food safe after it cures. Does anyone have experience with this product and using ibc totes that contained it. I hate to turn away 16 ibc totes but I also don't want to die. Please advise.

Did I put this in the wrong part of the forum or is it just that no one has any experience with this stuff?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I'd rather that than you or your family ending up sick.

I can see why those totes are free.

Think katmac called that one right.

Here is the PDF from Spectracomposites it should be easier for you to read.

Maybe grab a couple so you have spare frames for use as stands/trellises etc??

I don't know where, but I know a few people have just gotten the bladders for the IBC's. Far cheaper than with the frames.

Thanks for the replys I have decided to go ahead and get them. I have been wanting to grow algae for bio diesel production I figure they'll be fine for that. Also the frames are good to have. I really wish this stuff could be cleaned up as I found another source that has about 50 more all having contained the same stuff. I don't understand how the cultured marble counter tops can be considered food safe with this as the primary ingredient.
