Greetings From Jewell, Kansas, USA, Been running small system on my aquarium but just upgraded to an IBC system in the basement hoping to solve some problems by searching for them here on this forum, I want to raise Tilapia year round and have veggies too.

welcome aboard from another basement system user!

Wow, it has been a while,life got in the way and I didn't follow through on the ibc system in the basement But.... I did build a bigger system than my first 10 gallon aquarium system.

it's based on a 55 gallon fish tank and a 3 foot by 3 foot grow bed that's about 8 inches deep it all seems to be working great .



Parts reclaimed wood from old shipping pallets and crates



Filling with media, a kiln fired expanded clay.



Up and running for about 2 months now, every thing here was started from seed, ecept the thyme and the sage,they were transplants from starter plants.



About 20 various Koi, and gold fish



this is still a small system with just one grow bed but the next system will have three!
