Hey all,
Firstly thanks to all the members for posting, I have used this site a lot in researching my first system!
I have built an IBC system in my tunnel (hoop house). Been up and running for about 2 months now.
I have approx 250l grow beg with LECA (expanded clay) and about 300l in the fish tank. I bought 12 fingerlings, Red Strain Tilapia. A small heater keeps water temp at about 22 C. I have an auto-siphon and pump on 24/7. Red Wrigglers in grow bed.
Fish seem very happy and have grown quite a lot. Plants started slowly and then grew fine for a while, but have suffered a bit from aphids and some showing signs of some deficiencies (i think). I have a EC tester and water is now reading 0,8 EC. The leafy greens do seem fine which makes sense at this EC but the Broccoli, Bok Choi seems to be lacking in nutrients...
Anyways, just wanted to share my system, see if anyone has any suggesting for changes to improve it...
