I've been away abit due to work commitments,
I have been chatting to Troutman and a few others and I've made some changes to my system,
First I pulled out my two ac airpumps which were 5LPM and swaped to a kamair db40 airpump which puts out 45LPM of air. A huge difference in air and the tank is now more like a spa. My trout love the extra flow it creates.

I have also put a halia airpump 55lPM, as a battery backup which runs of a massive deep cycle battery and is hooked up to a ctek battery charger capable of putting full charge back into the battery in less than 24 hours.
It is also on a relay so when the power goes out it will automatically start and run for up to 8 hours.
I then added 3meters of 150mm PVC pipe with planters for a strawberry tube which looks good.
I'm now running 20 rainbow trout and 36 silver perch.

However I need to know, if my plants are loosing colour in leafs how much iron chelate do I add to 5000 litres of water please ....
