Yea, I found the OH was happy to participate... After the construct was done. She certainly had an excited look when I brought in a large handful of yellow pear tomatoes this morning!

Haha I wanted to do the whole thing on my own, but I must admit I've gotten used to having the muscles of an ex army commando around to do the heavy lifting :-) So now I'm getting soft I think.

Pond looked absolutely amazing this morning - crystal clear! I just tried to upload the video to YouTube though and it's having a mega-sad and won't let me :-/

I have waaaaay too many fish though. 24 all up! I didn't realise there were so many. Bring on system 2 ASAP so I can split some of them up. Actually.... Does anyone want to trade fish for plants/produce lol?

Stoked with the water quality now. Just need to get rid of the sand at the bottom. Although it helps me spot the darker fish at least!

Water quality is great. You could try syphoning out the sand

You should make a small wooden cover at one end to lye over the pond and watch the fish

Thanks guys, progress is frustrating slow though at the moment. Foster dogs and a few other 'life' things getting in the way. Not to mention budget!

That's a fab idea Jayendra! I was going to pop a walkway in front of the growbed, but I think I like your idea better :)

Wish I could get the YouTube video to upload. I might have to try at work when I'm hooked into the wifi.

I give up! Here is the Facebook link instead. YouTube hates me :-( not sure if the quality of the FB vid is anywhere near the original though.
