Quick question am I able to have gold fish and silver perch In the same tank for a short period of time?

I had 10 goldfish when cycling my system. Put in some silver perch and slowly knocked off the goldfish.

my goldies an SP seem to get along ok?

Maybe because they were in the FT first and were bigger tan the SP fry,

now the SP are much bigger than the goldies and they seem ok together, then I have a 8000L FT with 100 SP and 50+ Goldies.

Good question,
I was concerned when I add my barramundi in a few weeks if they would get along with my goldfish? I found out today that they get along with marron so its into the sump tank for them in a few weeks,

Large silvers have made large goldfish vanish in my big tank. Not a scrap left. i think once they attack one and kill it, a feeding frenzy happens
