Just a short slo-mo clip of the trout feeding. Anyone know how to fix the pixelation? The original quality us much better.

Thanks Jay! It's an Olympus Stylus. Would like to get a GoPro one day.

I like the one that got stock over the SLO. I don't think it thought it through.

Looks great!

Thanks for the edit Sir Charles. Tapatalk for Android is pretty crappy for adding posts.

CBB - that's my fave too. I've lost a few trout fingerlings over the years from jumping up and into the SLO ...

I liked the shade cloth / zip tie idea ;) I had some old caps with holes that I used.

So does the camera have slow mo high frame rate?

Hmm caps would look neater. I'll look into that.

Yep it has a slo mo mode. It's not bad, but I think I need more lighting.

It's also shockproof to 2m and waterproof to 10m - great for the kids. I tried taking some underwater shots of the trout, but they didn't turn out so well.

Veges are doing well, powered by the trout. Planted more seedlings on the weekend to get us through the winter.

Check out my hairy beets!

:angel4:

Been having a few issues with the top growbed clogging up from fish food scraps and/or trout crap. I added a handful of worms to the bed to see if that helps.

Also planning on doing some arduino work to monitor temperature, water levels, air pumps, etc. Watch this space (or maybe a new thread).

This is the only site where I can show off my hairy beets.

Well maybe not the only site...

I was searching for "pretty ibc" no luck....."artistic ibc" notta....."attractive ibc" found THIS POST....."sexy ibc" found your other system build. I want to thank you for putting an end to my search before I had to get graphic about it. I feel like I have some kind of foot fetish after all that.

I also found Ian's system, RonMaggi's system, and a few other examples that were very clean and artistic in appearance.

Anyone else who designs this way that I should go read about in terms of aesthetics? Thank you and great work and video photo work too! You are a hero and your IBC is sexy. :headbang:
