Well here we go again.

Setup number 3 is now up and running after scoring it a price that i could not let i go past and gives me a lot of room to grow it.

It's well under stocked at the moment as i stole 3 sliver perch out of one of the other systems to get it up and cycling. Plan to move the trout out of system number 2 and turn it off as i have been told my the wife that 3 separate systems is a bit to much.

Looks good.

But just curious, why are you running two seperate systems? Why don't you combine the two? Save in pumps & electricity?

Well I have been running 2 systems to keep different types of fish as I have both silver perch and trout and some sizes are not good to mix. I will now be going down from 3 systems to 2. You hardly notice difference in power bill as the pumps use very little electricity and they are only on for 15 mins every hr.

Water levels got abit high today due to the 50mm of rain we had over night. Lucky the trout weren't in here other wise they may be swimming on the ground.

Now to come up with an idea so and get excess water to flow out not over flow the fish tank.

I put a 40 mm overflow pipe out the side and used shade cloth an hose clamp on the outside to stop small fish getting out Sheepy
