JE - I have been putting seaweed extract in for the past 2 weeks, once a week. I just added chelated iron for the first time this past friday... hoping to see some results in weeks to come.

I have now planted the entirety of both grow beds and I'm wondering if my 45 gold fish are really producing enough waste to feed the plants. My FT is 150 gallons and I think it could stand to hold a few more fish... any thoughts on this?

Thanks for all the feed back!

ALSO going to add Red Wigglers this week. Any idea how many to add for each grow bed (8'x3')?

Worms will reproduce so add as many as you like - You could add some banana skins into the growbed for minerals.

Regarding more fish - its not how big you tank is - its the ratio to wet media which is 20-25kg to a meter cubed of wet media. Thats growing edible fish to plate size.

"3' x 8' grow beds that are each 12'' deep" - not sure how to figure that out in meters

3 * 8 * 1 to get cubic feet, divide by 35.3147 to get cubic meters. So about 2/3 m³...
