That fish tank is amazing. What type of cover do you have planned to keep the fish from jumping out?

Yea love the fish tank and greenhouse structure. Is there a purpose of the divider in the FT, like structural support or something?

It would help netting the fish out for sure. You could coral them all to on end and you don't have to reach as far.

Any sort of oil should work. Put the legs of the beds in a little tub of oil. Same with the pipes.

Or just get some ant poison, I don't know what sort you use there, and either use the sort they walk over and die, or the sort that they drink, go back to the nest and kill off the rest of the hive there. It'll take a few treatments of it, but it'll work.

Great idea! Thanks!

We were actually thinking of just putting grow beds over each of them!

Looks great. I like the shade structure as well. Part of the reason I always liked old greenhouses was the way they cast shadows - similar sort of feel here.

Thanks!

Its because we used cement blocks as the foundation!

ITs to increase the water flow with out increasing the pressure. So instead of the two different tanks with two water lines and drains we were able to save on materials and space!

Hey everyone here are some more shots of the cement tank. This is a progress update. So we filled the tank with water and left it for 4 days to see how the tank would react. So far so good! Pictures are attached and there is a link to a video on youtube as well!

Fish weren't reacting the way i hoped to the large sized pellets we recently started using. My solution was to blend it with other feed. Large pellets floated which made me stand by to keep food from falling into the drain. Versus the new blend that sinks to the bottom

Hey everyone-

These fry are about 1 month old. As they get bigger their appetite has increased dramatically. I am feeding them two teaspoons five times a day. They are always hungry and its impressive to watch them! Here is a link to the video I took.

It looks like the water input and output are at the same end of your tank. Will this provide enough flow? I would have thought that doing this will leave the other end of the FT stagnant? Would you be better off having input one end and output flowing the other end? Or am I missing something?

Those are the drains. One drain will have PVC pipe pointed towards the bottom and the other will be at the top. That will increase circulation in the water and prevent any dead spots. The input has not been drilled yet but will go on the other side of the divider!
