Here is a link to the blog for the aquaponics demonstration system in Haiti. If you are interested in this please follow. Construction is still underway but the tanks and troughs are formed and curing now. We will resume the project in August.

Thanks guys! This is our first project outside of the USA. One of the biggest hurdles is finding affordable construction took materials in a place like Haiti. Only the air pump and diffusers needed to be imported for this one.

The beds will be media filled. Gravel is abundant in Haiti and Styrofoam insulation is nonexistent. The challenge is locating a media with no limestone. Most of the gravel is composed of limestone.
