I'm glad I'm in Victoria and mostly not exposed to this madness.

Madness indeed! These three games are the only sport I get involved in through the year.
And actually getting fired up now it's all on the line too. Going to be a pretty intense game tonight, looking forward to it.
Personally I just want Gallen to never captain a winning team. If they dropped him I would applaud a series win for 'em.
This season my dream would be a win tonight and a draw next game. QLD would retain the series and it'd really upset NSWelshmen - losing by a series draw. (I'm not a nice man...)

As much as I didn't want the Blues to get a win (note that I now capitalise their name ) and I'm not a fan of their style of play, their supporters really deserved the win. Full on.

And there is always next year. No point in my being a bad loser, I really enjoy friendly banter and love a good grudge match. Now we can banter on without kicking people when they are down. Strangely enough seeing all the blue jerseys on site today did make me smile, was a hard ride for those lads before this series and I don't begrudge them one little bit.
It's a good thing for sure.
(Would have been nice to push on for another series or two though...)

Was going to go fishing when I realised it was the final game of the series tonight.
I used to take a tiny 12v tv with me and do both, nobody goes out on Origin night so it makes for a great evening but since they axed analogue tv that tradition has died for me.

So, here we go!
Series is already won/lost, so it's all just for pride and looking forward to it.
Either the Blues will stamp their mark solidly this year (*cough* 'bout time...*cough* ) or the maroons will save some face.
Either way, bring it on!
