Hi,

I'm very new to the world of aquaponics. I've began building an IBC system just from pics i've found on the net and forums etc, and a a friend of mine has given me some advice too.
it's just a single IBC system at the moment but will hopefully include aanother larger fish tank and some extra grow beds.

The beggining

Welcome Action_87. I would probably just paint it with a a water based exterior paint. Everyone seems to want to use green, so perhaps vermillion might be fun...

Hi

Welcome. Can I interest you in joining our research site? I would be very interested in how AP works in Kalgoorlie.and you can keep a diary to help you track things as they start up. This provides data for research, and you can research all the other diaries as well

Ria

I'm with Ron, Vermillion would be nice.

Just to let you know... I have 24 liters of Brunswick Green enamel sitting in my shed as I type this.
It was for a house I was gonna paint but never got around to.

So far I have resisted splashing it all over everything in sight.

I also am a fan of these IBC systems. They're an excellent base from which to begin a terrific little home system.

Hi guys

I'm going to run silver perch to start with, which my friend has in KAL at the moment but my grand plan is maron in the sump and fish in the tank hopefully barramundi at some stage.
