This is my attempt at a 600 gallon concrete tank and four barrel beds. Still waiting on my pumps, aerator, and PH kit from amazon so i can get started. It takes two weeks for an amazon order to get to the Caribbean. Just tested my siphon today and it started quick and drained very nice. Here are some pictures i took while i was constructing my system.

Should get pumps and gravel by friday hopefully. Then I can cycle the system for a few days before adding any fish. Updates to come!

I don't think those 2x4s are going to hold that much weight... Other than that looks like a good start! What did you paint the inside of the tank with?

Thanks gbisus, the 2x4 are just temporary until i make a proper base. The tank sealer is called drylock, which is a water based latex. One gallon did two coats and it was fairly cheap, 15 bucks i think. Im kinda worried about adding fish to it but Im hoping they survive. Lol. My friend has some tilapia and he said i could take as many as i wanted....how many would you recommend to start with?
