Nice. I would recommend keeping the barrel/ Ibc system separate as it will give you more options with fish. You could keep trout in one and silver perch in the other. A chift pist system (or chop) sounds great. I think that is what I will be building when I move to a bigger place.

The best thing about this forum is you will get heaps of advice if you put up a design and ask for advice

So with this setup you will have about 1000L of growbed space. Is the Ibc a sump or fish tank. I would use two IBCs one buried as a sump which pumps to a second Ibc above ground as the fish tank with an SLO which feeds the growbeds

That sounds good Ben i was thinking of having the ibcs outside of the greenhouse were the mound of dirt is maybe sink it into the ground will have natural fall to go to beds the picture is just a rough idea i found it were they build dome greenhouses over it it seems just the right size for my greenhouse its a start anyway

yeah that looks good - pretty high growbeds without digging in the fishtank - and you would have to run constant flood with no holes in the standpipe to have a decent amount of water in the fish tank with that amount of barrel beds. Otherwise with timed F/D or power off the water from the growbeds would overflow the fish tank (thats if the fish tank sat at around 2/3 to 3/4 full - thats my guestimate.

Obviously a sump would fix that.

Not sure how cold it gets there - but you could put some cement blocks or water filled drums along the wall for temperature control and ambient night time heat emission across your wall there and build a greenhouse over it.

You could also go vertical up the wall with pipes.

Obviously CHIFT ? as your not digging down into your newly packed rock :)
