I'd still salt the main system. The parasite is in there, not just in the fish. The point of increasing temp is to increase the life cycle so you get them in the cycle of fish-environment-fish.

the main system has been just "salted" 3ppm, my question is how long will it take to kill the parasites in the fish that arre currently in the hospital tank. do i leave them there until i see no more ich in them? what if the ich doesnt go away?

At that temp I think it's about 7 days cycle. But you often loose the fish that are already infected.

make sure you are getting the salt ratio correct, before you were saying 2-3% (way too much), now 5ppm (way too little).

In your 100L hopsital tank you should have about 600grams of salt to be at 6ppt, of coarse if you have a filter attached then you have more than 100L.

Tilapia can easily handle 44 parts per thousand. That is the salinity of the water (Salton sea) I took my tilapia from. Don't be afraid to get aggressive on the salt in the hospital tank.

sorry i always forget it's grams hence the mistakes in the ratio numbers.
As yavimaya sadi i did add 600grams of salt, the tank is 100lt including the filter.
