Here is an 18 IBC CHIFT PIST System I have designed that I would love to build one day.
Can anyone see any problems I might run into with this layout?

Pump only to the FT which overflows via SLO to the beds, which drian to the sumps etc

What size diameter SLO pipe do you think I will need to distribute the flow over a 7 meter distance? Would it need to be on a decline to assist gravity flow or is having it straight ok?

slight slope is fine - just make sure your outlet on the fishtank is low enough
