Hi All,

I am in the process of cycling and my plants aren't doing so great. I've been reading some of the posts hear and see people talking about Maxicrop with Iron. Wondering if using just a simple fish/seaweed blend fertilizer sprayed on the leaves (foliar application) is a good idea?

Are you cycling with fish? If so, it is not a good idea to use fish emulsion. While you might just be foliar spraying, it can still leach into your system and drive your ammonia up. The are plenty of seaweed only options out there.

I am cycling with gold fish - I will give the seaweed a go tomorrow. Any recommendations on amounts to add? Add directly to water or just foliar feed plants?
