wouldnt touch something with such a name with a 10-foot pole. I would be very dubious of any claims. Unless you are a fan of power bands?

Do what you did with the RO system, filter some water in store and test the ph before and after.

I think what gmturner is trying to say is you don't need anything fancy to lower your pH. It will come down naturally.

He is comparing the bio magnet in your picture to the sports bands you see advertised.

It is more than likely a scam. Doesnt work. Any reported benefits would merely be placebo.

The fact that the tv show here in australia called today tonight did a story on magnetic filters and their "magic" water only confirms my suspicion as ive yet to see anything but utter horse sh!t come out of that tv show.

i would love to be proved wrong. Im just trying to save you from wasting money.

Could you capture rain water into a tank for your makeup water?

once your biofilter is fully functioning and the fish are growing and feeding well you will have trouble keeping the ph up not down, unless you have used limestone media.

A 2% daily water top up. That sounds like a lot.

Can you prepare the water before you add it?

Do you have a growbed? If so you have a bio filter.

well theres your problem. Dont add anymore of that sort of stuff until you need to, your pH will come down on its own as your system matures. The pH drops as a by product of the bio-filtration process aswell as the fish breathing(CO2) in the water. Just sit back and relax.

If you happen to have any eggs shells or powder in a stocking or something hanging in the system, take it out for now.

hmmmm homemade pottery, sounds to me like a potential cause of high ph aswell.

could you take some pictures of your system? would really help break down the language barrier i think.
