That means you would need about 19 more of those grow beds to be able to stock your fish tank to capacity.

Some people grow out ornamental fish with the express purpose to sell them at a profit. If you can get your hands on some good breeding stock of something in demand, you can offset many of the costs of an ap system, reducing your food bill even more.

BTW is the turnover per hour for what's in the fish tank, or for how much water is in the whole system (e.g. fish tank and growbeds)?

You don't have to go to capacity your original idea would support five to ten fish. ( I don't have a system but am going on what I have read ) 200 ltr ft 120ltr grow bed I have a system ready to start soon with 180ltr ft and 90 ltr grow bed looking at 5 large gold fish Never thought of breeding them. TY for the idea ronmaggi.

This hobby just has so many twists and turns, dosent it.
