I ordered some maxicrop liquid and some chelated iron. Hope it gets here soon my plants are looking rough. Wish I would have had this stuff on hand earlier. Guess I hadn't read enough.

Well GB 1&2 the first set that the bell siphons worked on the first try are now having starting issues. I'm playing with the discharge back to the tank before getting too involved with the siphons themselves. Adding a 45 didn't help. Adding a 90 didn't seem to help either. So I am testing a 1 1/4" drop to a 3/4 to see if it will give the back pressure needed to push the start.

I know my bells are kind of long well longer than most but have worked until now so the next step I guess will be shortening the bells closer to the top of my stand pipes. We will see.

Ok so I had hard lined my pumps in the tanks and hadn't given a lot of thought to cleaning them. Oops. But rather than having a big head ache with the right length here and there I used compression fittings and just cut my up piping so that I could get my pumps out every so often to clean them.

I pulled the first pump and realized I forgot to pull the sponge filter and knew then I hadn't done it on the other two. So I removed the sponge filter and everything is running back on track if not better than before.

I also received my Iron Chelate and my maxicrop in the mail so I after reading a lot dosed my tanks and sprayed my wilting plants.
