So I just set up my first aquaponics system

It's really small just a 100 gallon stock tank with 2 15 gallon grow beds.

I got it set up for less then 150 bucks. This is my first shot at a system if i can prove this works then

my wife will let me go bigger. :thumbleft:

Don't have fish yet and after i put the rock in the water got really nasty but it works.

The water will clear pretty quickly if it's continually flowing.

Looks like you've got plenty of room for expansion!

Good stuff Nick your on your way buddy.

With respect I would suggest you get a bit of shade over the FT to stop the algae build up.

It might also be a good idea to add a couple of diagonal braces or even a couple of triangle sections of plywood across the top corners where the pallets meet to add some bracing to those pine pallets.

Would hate to think what might happen if the kids climb up on it, particularly in the future when things sag a bit .
